doing the plugs and wires this weekend. what are the best ones? was going to use topline bosch at autozone. also i have the 5.9 never messed with distributor so should i change cap and rotor? when should i change the distributor the truck has 90000 miles on it? any help would be great...
Cap and rotor should be every 30k miles, so I'd say it should be done, will take you 20 mins topps. Just remember to remove one wire at a time off the old one and place it on the new one in the same location.
Unlike the Hemi, which seems to hate everything but the cheap copper plugs, my '98 5.9 loved Bosch Platinums, dunno if the performance was any better but I picked up about 1.5 mpgs when I switched to them...
