I looked into buying my own gun when I was painting my stuff, but then I needed to get the paint and all that stuff. It would have been an initial cost of around $215. Which I didnt mind, but I was unemployed at the time, and Home Depot metallic silver was only $6...

Personally i think the mirrors are a bit much, its nice to have SOME things break up the paint. But its your truck and if you like it...
As for a bumper, why not a Laramie bumper with black in the chrome center piece?
Also, just a thought, have you ever considered a matte silver bed stripe for a ghost effect?
A friend of mine bought a couple guns from Lowes and likes em. He primed and painted his whole camaro with no probs.
