Guess it just looked that way since you have the plate on your cutout. The idle video sounds good, how about that driveby video?

Well I think the cutout valve is going to go now. It is just as loud outside the truck but a hell of a lot quieter in the truck, sounds a lot nicer than the cutout does and the truck is just as quick with this new muffler as with the cutout open (+0.01 compared to the open cutout). I am going to keep the dump though so I can manually unscrew it if I want it open but considering the XR-1 is meant for dragsters, I dont think I'll end up using it that much. I may have to wait a little longer to decide if I want to keep it or not though as it is a hard choice to make.

Oh and today as I was leaving the grocery store, I started up the truck and set off both the car alarms of the two cars on each side of me ...

I'll let you know if I decide to keep it or not, more leaning towards getting rid of it the more I drive around with it closed off. I'm going to clean it up a bit and reinstall it and try both side by side but I doubt it'll make any difference at all, Ive done all the necessary tests to compare them and they are basically equal right now. If I do get rid of it though it will only be the valve and switch Im keeping the y on the truck.

A good muffler always sounds better than a cut out/open exhaust and can still be plenty obnoxious

Well as of now one of the guys on here has shown some interest in it and if he decides by the end of next week he wants it then the muffler is his, if not then the whole catback is going up on craigslist for cheap
