any way to make a srt-10 hood functional on my 5.7 hemi without buying a 400 dollar air box?

if yours is closed off, buy the open grill for it, and call it good. these hood scoops are designed to let hot air out not cool air get forced in..

i'm trying to make it ram air like i thought it should be,should have it painted on the truck by the weekend,i'll see how it works out.....thanks guys

Well, like you said there is a $$ ram air box available, or if you're crafty you can fabricate one.
