Default Rough Idle in 2005 4.7L

Alright guys, Ive got a 2005 4.7L 1500 Ram, single cab short bed, and it has been Idling rough when I'm at a stop. It does this if I have the windows up or down, air conditioning on or off, and it stops if I cut the wheels either direction while still at a stop.

Has anyone else experienced this same problem? If so what did you do to fix it? Any others have an idea of what it would be?

Thanks,
Jeff

you should first try cleaning the throttle body. i recently did this and while i had it all apart i replaced the throttle position sensor. or TPS. i just went ahead and changed it out since it was only like 30 bucks. and there is a plug under that that you can take off and clean it as well. i would start there since its freee-30 dollars. depending on what you choose to do.

Check the throttle body, and clean it. It's a pretty straightforward job. But you said if you cut the wheels either direction, the rough idle goes away? Check to see if anything is obstructing the air box or airflow to the engine. The only reason I can think of that the wheels would matter is if by turning them, you open a clearer path for air to enter the engine.
