Cruise Control (Clockspring/ECM)
My 04 Diesel Dodge had no cruise control new. I just bought from rostra.com an after market kit. http://oem-auto-accessory.com/oem_do...06_diesel.html
It was for a 05-08 diesel, but my 04 had the exact sterring wheel with the same controls. Well I installed the cruise control switches, and pressed the cruise control on. The light lit up in the instrument panel. CRUISE.
My problem it doesn't set, accel, or decel.
It says to run these three wires from the clockspring to the ECM. My ECM is a CM 848B ECM. It says to run the wires to pin 15,18,and 34. I just don't know if thats right for my ECM.
Also the new wires are to go on the right connection of the Clockspring on Pin 4,5,and 6.
Does this make any sense and does any one have a wiring diagram for my ECM.
