lucas transmission oil

Default lucas transmission oil

what does everyone think about the lucas transmission additive?
i used search and didnt come up with much.

its a 46re tranny. its not leaking or anything but ive heard good stuff about the lucas..
ive got 105,xxx miles and im wanting the tranny to stay alive a good bit longer.
already adjusted the bands and changed the filter.

Never used it, but I have used Lucas oils and other additives they make. I use their "tune up in a bottle" every 3k miles in my gas tank religiously and have so for years.
Big Lucas fan here, so I'd say go for it...

i know their power steering fix is a gift from god... i guess if it messes up my tranny they have a guarantee so..

i found a website that will upgrade my 46re to 48re internals but its like $3000 .
my tranny works fine i guess just not impressed with it and was hoping that the lucas would improve....something.

It may be different now, but last I knew the SC didn't do anything with the 46re...

ive got the sc3715 i think it changes the wot shifts a little bit, nothing user selectable. nor very noticible

I heard of a guy, not a dodge or a truck but he filled his tranny with that additive replaceing the regular oil and babied he already fried tranny another year. My tranny is leaking so I bought the bottle, I just need to wait until enough oil has leaked to put it in.
