i just bought a 04 1500 4x4 hemi and i was looking into a leveling kit for it. so today i went out looked at it and i think there might already be a leveling kit turned far down on it. is there any way of telling wether or not its got a kit in it already??

 

if its an 04 it has torsion bars that just need to be cranked to the desired level and then get an alignment after you are satisfied with how it sits

 

The stock keepers will usually be pretty rusted, aftermarket keys should be powdercoated and still have strong color. If the adjustment bolt is backed way out on the stock keys the truck will have a huge rake to it,
