Default All Gas created equal?

I have a '06 Ram with the 5.7 Hemi Engine and was wondering what type of gas is recommended and what gas stations are the best.

89 octane. You can go 91 on occasion, if you want.

Dunno what stations you've got around where your at, but my truck hates Sunoco gas. Doesn't matter what grade, it hates it, runs terrible. Shell always gives me crappy mileage, Hess and Racetrac always run best for me, and also are usually the cheapest around Orlando. 89 or 93 depending on what tune I'm running.

Manual will tell you what you should run as far as octane. I use what ever I am close to, usually the gas stations on base. If I am on a road trip its either shell or texaco.

Is that a personal remark, or a statement about your truck?

Also look at the pumps for those stickers that say thier gas has ethanol. Fuel with no ethanol is better than blended.

89 octane or mid grade. When i bought my truck new, it came with a tag that mentioned something like "87 is required, but 89 is recomended for performance. I've used 89 for the past couple of years, and i can tell a difference compared to 87 octane.

I read a bunch of tests/studies and apparently shell gas is the best. I run 93
