Cool Shimmy while using brakes

any one know the cause or fix for this? my 06 quad cab shimmys or shakes most times while applying the brakes. I've had new roaters put on, it continued to happen and the shop told me the new roaters were defective, so they put new ones on again and it still shakes while braking! please help me

Tire out of round or out of balance, maybe. Shakin' while brakin' is usually a warped rotor. Did they turn the rotors?

I had an issue with my stratus last year about it shakin when I hit the brakes. First thought was rotors. Then I decided to change to tie rods and that solved the problem because the shaking only occurred at 30-55mph when I hit the brakes.

My other car prior to that had the same problem. First thoughts were the rotors so I replaced them and it still did it. Then I replaced the rear. Solved the problem.

Check your tie rod play and your rear rotors.
Hope this helps.

ck for a loose wheel brg. Did they clean the rust off the hubs? even putting on new rotors wont help if the mating surface has rust on it .If you are going to turn the rotors have them turned on the car

I've seen these trucks warp all 4 rotors. If you didn't do all 4 rotors do the other 2.
