Default 2003 Dodge Ram Crankshaft Position Sensor

Hello everyone,

Yes I am new here but I am trying to find an informative forum to call my home. I just bought my truck and already need some help asap.

I think that my crankshaft or camshaft position sensors might be going out so I am needing to know where they are located on my hemi 5.7L engine.

Also,

My 4WD might be having some problems as well...the other day I was in a field using my 4WD and after I got done unloading my payload I drove back through the field and then when I reached the road I switched it back to 2HI and for some reason the truck wouldnt let go of the 4WD or quite go into 2HI. I tried to step on the gas and it lurched forward but it felt like the brakes were on as well and the tires were all squealing and the truck was hesitating. Finally I just womped on the gas and it broke free back into 2HI. Does anyone have a clue what happened? I cant get it back into 4WD now...I am going to run to the mechanic but didnt know if anyone has a clue before I went.

TIA
Matt

I know but did your truck tires squeal and the truck hesitate to go forward?

The Camshaft Position Sensor on the HEMI is on right side of timing chain cover below alternator
