Default will leaf springs from 3500 fit 1500?

I have a 03 1500 pickup 2wd shortbed.I use it for a work truck and i have a 1500lb box on the back so i need heavier leaf springs and i was wondering if i can take a cheaper route and buy used 3500 or even 2500 springs if it would work? my leaf springs are flat/warn out.

NO. either get helper springs for a 1500series or get Airbags for 1500 series. They are not interchangeable from 2500/3500-1500. Only from 2500-3500.

Go with the bags for sure and stay away from AAL's. I had a set of AAL's once and the rear bounced all over the place when the truck was empty.
