Default Trans Guage Grounds??

Hey guys i installed my guage, going off the DIY, and i grounded my sending unit and the light for the guage to the dash brace that is pictured in the DIY... should i have ran the ground for the sending unit back down to the transmission? or am i fine having the grounds on the same spot on the dash brace.

I was told that in the autometer instructions which i didnt have cause my guage was used. it said to ground the sending unit on the transmission near the sending unit.

everything seems to be working fine on it no probs so far. What could happen having it the way i do?

Thumbs up

The sensor is threaded into the tranny. This connection provides the proper ground unless there is a separate grounding tab on the sensor. You are fine.
