Default Not the average Question

So there are all kinds of questions about how to lift and what to use. But, I want to know, when is it too late to lift, mileagewise? I have 102000 miles and would like to lift, but just curious if it would worth it or not? I know most do it when the mileage is low, but what do you all think? I would like to buy another truck, but will be keepin this one.

It is NEVER too late to lift a truck. All of these old 4x4s from the junk yard have been lifted, why not yours?

A Ram will run up to 200k+ miles with proper maintenance, it's never too late to mod!

I say the same thing if your getting another and keeping this one why not? It's got the V6 according to your profile so it isn't gonna destroy mileage that much. You will still probably do better mileage wise than guys with the hemi, 4.7, or 5.9.

Agree on the doing the lift, just keep in mind if you are going to do a body lift with that grill guard then you are going to run into some small issues. A suspension lift will be fine.

In my opinion, it is never too late to do things like a lift, etc. My family and I keep our vehicles forever though, and always make sure to keep up on all maintenance and regular repairs. For example, my first truck was my Dad's '91 Ramcharger, with the 318. He bought it new off the lot, and I got it 14 years later, still in perfect running condition, then drove it for another 3.5 years myself. Ended up selling it to my buddy for 500 bucks; it is 18 years old at this point, 275,000 miles on the odo, and still starts right up and has not had any major engine or tranny issues ever. Body is rusted, thanks Michigan for using salt like crazy, but the truck is solid. It is currently being lifted and made into an offroad beast by him.
