Default Need Help with Level Kit Install

First guys, I notice how everyone helps out and replies quickly with great information on this board and I've been searching the site but can't find the answer I'm looking for. I was installing a HBS 2" level kit today and had everything removed and was in the process of installing the strut assembly with the spacer on top and I couldn't get the holes on the bottom of the strut assembly lined up so that I could insert the bolt. I spent way too much time taking it out and putting it back in and trying it over and over. I finally went back to the stock position and even had a difficult time getting the holes to line up for the stock setup. I really had to pry to get the bolt started through the back side and then I had to pry the front side of the bottom shock mount to get it all the way through. I really want to do this myself but I don't want to break anything and cost myself more money. So, how much prying should be required to get the bolt through the strut mounting location at the bottom or is there an easier way? Thanks guys and gals. I would've loved to been able to post some pics of my success today, but maybe I can do it tomorrow with everyones help.

For the passenger side i had to do alot of prying almost to the point where i thought i was gonna break something. THe drivers side went in pretty easy maybe I did something right/different to make it that way. I went with the 2 1/2" Hell Bent kit.

I started with the passenger side as well and it was like I was going to break something. Maybe if I had done the driver's side and had success then I wouldn't have given up until I got it on. I'm really pi$$ed that I didn't this done today. I really couldn't find a good way to pry and thought the bar was going to slip and hurt something or tear a boot.

Dodge should've just made them leveled and we wouldn't have these issues, but then what I'm sure I'd be looking at the next mod instead. I guess I should try again, but my back is kind of sore so I might wait a little while longer.

Did you disconnect the swaybar? I had mine on my lift and had a 36" prybar and airtools that helped me out so it was probably a bit easier. You just need to finesse it in there.

The instructions that come with the HBS doesn't say to disconnect the sway bar, it only had me disconnect the lower sway bar link. Is that what you mean?

Yeah, just to make sure the swaybar isn't holding the lower control arm.

Yeah, I had it completely disconnected. I wish I had my camera with me at the time to take pictures of what the lower strut mount alignment looked like.
