Default Brake light prblms

I was hooking up an electric trailer brake thing w/ a facory harness...i didn't have any brake signal and while checking it i arced two wires together. Now the brake lights dont come on inless the key is on and the third brake light won't come on at all. I was wondering if there was a fuse somewhere for the brakes lights if anyone has a wiring diagram for the circuit. Thanks in advance.

All years are diff for diagrams.
Best bet is to check ALL fuses under/side of dash and under hood. There must be a popped fuse somewhere's.
