I'm thinkin that something has to be wired wrong for them to do that. Something isn't allowing the blinker to work properly, if the back is working then it has nothing to with anything as far as blinkers that came stock on the truck. It has to be in the headlights. Check your wires to make sure they're all correct.

is it a 3157 bulb? cut the middle wire going to the bulb, this should be the same wire that you wired into the leds to light them up (leave room to reattach it in case i'm wrong).

I know they have 2-way turn signal bulbs that will be white for the running lights and yellow for the blinker. Never seen any that are off for running lights.

If you want the halos on without the running light, the easiest thing to do would be to not have them ran into your running lights. Make it a seperate switch for the Halos.

the running lights have 3 wires. one for the runnning light, one wire for the blinkers, and the other is ground. so just cut the running light wire
