Default Mud Flaps

Guys,

The previous owner of my 05 hemi 1500 put the mud flaps on too low on the body panels. The current bottom most lag bolts have ripped out unfortunatley.

How do you guys attache mud flaps to your trucks? I was thinking the following:

1.) Just bolt the mud flaps with washer/bolt/nut on the holes that are stripped.

2.) Pull them all out and move them up about 3/4 inch and redrill/secure the mud flaps with lagbolts? Metal Screws?

Thoughts?

Body-sealed sheet-metal screws. NAPA carries 'em. Forget "lagbolts"
