yeh I was thinking of hacking up my dash at some poin in the past so I could stick a double DIN unit in, but after considering how badly I would have to butcher the inside area behind the bezel, I decided that a flip-out unit was really the only way to go for me. I have been using a Pioneer AVIC-N3 for awhile now and its a fairly good head. Pioneer internal amps have always been weak on speaker power and the N3 is no exception. The Sony that I had in there before it had far better speaker power and clarity even though the difference was not even 5 watts per channel between them.

double din bezel = no cutting just drop in. can be found for 70-100 bucks on ebay.. only an idiot would try to hack up the dash with that bezel as an alternative... altho if you try it and make it look good then kudos but i've seen at least three people do it on here and have yet to see one that doesn't look like crap... that's on 06-08 models. someone did a hellish mod for a double din in a 04 or something and it turned out great.. but that was way more than a cut he fiberglassed it in and everything.

altho i've never seen weed's i have confidence that his looks good.

dang oldies round here! class of 09! haha sorry off topic thought i would throw that in.. and the headunit is nice ive seen it b4.. but i went with the avic-x910bt cuz of navi and it had more options for stereo.. but it was still a good unit

you wont have to cut your dash.. just get the dash kit off ebay for like 110 bucks looks much cleaner.. heres mine
