Default painting stock rims advice? good idea or bad??

ive noticed alot of you painting your stock rims, well, i recently did a roll on rust0leum truck bed liner and was wondering if i sanded and prepped my rims real good if this would work on my rims.
i wanted to do my rocker panels too but decided against it.
any thoughts on roll on bed liner on rims???

I would advise against it. Its very heavy versus paint, throwing your wheels off balance, yet they probably could be balance if you dont mind having like 7-9 ounces of weight stuck on to do it (just and example) If they could even get the weights hammered on or stuck on, whichever way you have it done.

Also wouldnt that give the wheel a very textured look, and if you decided you didnt like it, I dont think it could be satifactoraly removed.

I would say dont do it.
