hey guys i got a problum... my truck is setting off the po441 engine code and today the truck just started idling rough at idle and i was wondering if any of you guys knew how to fix this problum any info would help alot right now because im clueless about the code and what problum this is

 

P0441 Evaporative Emission Control System Incorrect Purge Flow

 

i had this on my truck soon after i cleaned the throttle body, of course i didnt what i should of and look at the throttle body. so i replaced the gas cap, reset no dice. looked up under the truck at the evap canister and checked the lines, all good hell even looked brand new. so, after scratchin my head for a couple of days i looked under the hood at the tb and saw that a vacuum line was off lol. that fixed it! but if your stuff is all hooked up than id start with the gas cap or you can get under the truck and look at the evap canister lines. its under the bed toward the cab in front of the gas tank. check those lines for leaks/cracks.

 

ok thanks man its been throwing the code for about a month or two and i never had an idea about when the code was now if the evap canister and/ or lines are bad, can just go to any regular auto parts store to get them?? or do i have to go to dodge to get them???

 

naw you can get a replacement hose anywhere, they are just rubber hoses like 1 1/4 or something.
