Hi , I am new here
broke valve spring and droped valve into cylinder siezed engine.
Long block has been replaced under warrenty by Dodge dealer.
Question I hear dodge is on their 3 generation valve springs for Hemi's the last to include sleaves for the springs.
this long block came from dodge/chysler but the dealer does'nt know what springs are in it. What are my chances it has upgraded valve springs or do I need to worring about this happening again ?

 

2004 could be either, early 2004's had the old style spring, later 2004's had the anti deflection cups on the bottoms of the springs. If you have old style, I would definetly upgrade the springs!
