Exclamation Overfilled Transmisson...check engine light

I have 2003 Ram 1500 2wd, automatic transmission.I was stupid and put some lucas transmisson fix in through the dipstick and I think i overfilled it, i used half the bottle and i think i only needed a bit of fluid. the truck ran fine until i shut it off. When i tried starting it again it didn't crank right away took me 2 try's before it turned over. This was followed by the check engine light. The truck was still running smooth after that no problems shifting. would the fluid set off a sensor or is there serious damage to my transmission? and if so how can i get that extra fluid out of my trans?

check the dipstick, while the engine is warmed up in neutral. confirm the reading on the stick then go from there. theres 2 options i can think of for removing fluid. easiest would be remove the return line on the trans cooler and empty half a quart or whatever you think you need.

The easiest way I found to remove trany fluid is with a drill pump through the dip stick. Maybe just a coincidence that the engine started acting up at the same time and it's a different issue. What code is it throwing?
