Default 2002 Ram Sport Shifting Problem..NEED HELP!!

So for the past few months my trucks (5.9L Ram Sport) ABS & Park lights would come on and off at random. When the lights do come on, the truck has a hard time shifting from 1st to 2nd gear. It revs way up before shifting. It started out by only coming on once in a while, now the lights are on all the time and the truck just shifts real hard. I noticed this past weekend now that I could be cruising at 65 mph and it would just "cut-out" for only a few mph and then go back up to 65. Any ideas?? My gut feeling is either the tranny has issues or the computer system/wiring has gone bad. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

Has it thrown any codes? Or have you taken it down to have it checked for codes yet?

It has not been hooked up yet for the codes. The check engine light was on last fall and it tested out for a leaking hose, so that got fixed. I also recently replaced the bearing in one of the belt pulleys.

Go hvae it checked for codes. There will probably be one for the ABS sensor. Dont know why or how but those ABS sensors on your front brakes ( I believe thats where they are) play havic with the way your truck runs when they go bad.

I will get it checked out for codes. Once in a while when I am pulling up to a stop light the truck will slightly jerk and I can feel the brakes act funny and then the truck will beep at me about the ABS lights.
