Default Question about tires that came with truck

I bought my 05 ram from a used car dealer on aug 1,2009 - the tires are stock tires and the front 2 are mint with like 10/32 but the back 2 are just barely passable and 1 has a nail hole patch in 2 places.i got a sticker no problem but my friends say they should have replaced the 2 back tires before they gave it to me.any ideas? Can i or should i bring it back and tell them to replace them or can they just give it to me like that?

Used is usually sold on an as is where is policy so Im doubtful that they will budge
on the tires. Give it a try but dont get your hopes up too much.

Like was said, if they were to replace them it would have been before you bought it. They are going to invest as little money as required to make the sale. Its yours now and they dont/wont care. I would find some used tires in Craigslist or Ebay if you cannot find any local.

by rights yes they should have dealers even used buys are required to replace at a certain point big safty issue due to lemon law standards an such id give em grief but you did take delivery at that condition so its a matter of customer service an return buissness if they want it froget even talking to your salesman talk to the manager feel out his stand point and go from there> All else fails weedahoe had a good suggetion with the ole C.L. route good luck.

Dealers are crooks, unless you specify on the sales agreement your terms, they do not have to do any thing, how ever, if truck is not sold as is, and the tires are below spec, they have sold you a un safe truck and they take the truck back, or give you a tires that are with in spec.

If you have signed away ( the fine print terms and conditions of sale ) and thiers wording stating you accpect the trucks as is, than you out of luck.
