Default 3815 or 3865

I can get a used 3815 for $175CAD or a new 3865 for $340. Is the extra worth it and will I be pretty disapointed with the 3815.

08 I think means you get the transmission mods with the 3865 some one hekp me out
here but if that is true then the extra money is so worth it.

If you want adjustable up and down shifts as well as adjustable torque management then i would recommend the 3865. they are testing trans tuning now, hopefully soon to be released. Check out the superchips thread, lots of good info.

with the 08 I think you can get the new transmission mods not too sure though but if you can then get the 3865 because the 3815 offers no trans tuning.

3815 offers some trans tuning. Just nothing compared to what the 3865 is gonna offer here in the next couple months.

I am really thinking of the tq managment, and I am liking what I am reading about the downshifting, maybe I will wait for those to be released on the 3865

you dont have to wait. when they release new features you simply update the tuner via internet.

they have already released the beta version for your year truck and several guys on this forum are testing it currently, with great results from what i gather, but i suppose there are no guarantees.
