Default 2003 Ram 1500 4dr, 33s or 35s with factory 20" wheels?

I've been searching for awhile, but have yet to get a definate answer. I have an 03 dodge 1500 with a CST 4" spindle lift and daystar spacer. So essentially I have a 5" lift in the front, and a 2" block in the rear. I'm still on the factory 20" wheels on the 275/50/20. I want 35" tires so a 35x12.5x20, but keep hearing I can only run 33s. The stock wheel and tire combo is a smidge under 33 so I don't see how the 35s wont work. Any info would be great.

I think you should have no problem with 35's, but I'm not an expert with tires around here..someone else will chime in but I say you're in the clear for 35's.

Mine has 33" tall tires on factory 20" rims without a lift. Mine is a 2wd. 275/65/20. The tread width is 9". I would think with your lift they would fit unless they are to wide to turn.

You can fit 35s with a leveling kit. It will be tight and you may have some rubbing issues while turning, and you won't have a lot of room for articulation, so if you do any offroading, you'll need a lift.

You'll fit the tires on there. All you need is a leveling kit to make them fit. So that amount of lift will fit you fine. You might need spacers depending upon the aggressiveness of your tread.
Do you have any pictures of your truck with that lift and the tires?

My truck is 2wd. The first truck I had was a 96 4x4 gmc sierra and I slammed it, now I have a 2wd ram and I want to lift it, some people can't grasp that idea.

Thanks for all the info. I'm debating just getting some other 20" wheels and 35s or maybe even go to 18"s. I want the tire to look meaty, and with a 33 on a 20 it looks factory.
