Default Gear Install shops in PA? 3.55-4.10

I have 3.55's and I was looking into getting some 4.10's. Trying to get the truck to move past the 125mph mark on straight away's... Since hp isnt there, I figure the gearing would help with what Hp I do have. Can anyone give me the name of some shops in PA about an hour away from Philadelphia, PA max. I am looking @ Motive brand 4.10's. It is a single cab 2 x 4 4.7L ram. I have been talking and some people say that 4.56's would give me better performance, but I dont want to sacrafice top end...I want to sign up for the texas mile and want to see what she has. Thanks in advance fellas...

Yeah I think I can help you on this one. There is a shop in lansdale I believe, its called 4x4 Performance and Gear or thats what they are listed in my phone as. There number is 215-669-8061. They are pretty good guys. My buddy bought and had a 6-inch BDS kit installed in there shop. And I got my rear blocks from them.

I got my 4.56 gears installed at this place, and they did a great job, very professional. They are about an hour outside of Philly.

I would reccomend shocks and a rear sway bar if you plan on going that fast. Stock shocks can be dangerous in slower situations. Going fast isn't what these trucks are made to do because they are big wind blockers. They tend to get squirlly and float a bit. Maybe 2wd is totally diff from 4wd???? 4:56's will get you up to speed faster, but you will sacrifice some top end. If you aren't planning on holding your speed at that rate but for only 1mile or so, then i would say get the 4:56's. Sure your engine may be revving up towards 5k or so, but it's brief.
4:56's would wake your truck UP.

Dirtydog is right. It would be counter-productive to go to lower gears if you plan on sustaining high speeds like that.

4.56's might not be best if hes going to stay in the 100's all the time, but its only a mile. 4.56 gears would be way funner every other day you drive your truck than 4.10s.

I say get the 4.56's, yeah your run top speed at high rpms, the day you run the texas mile, but after that you'll really be glad you got the 4.56s instead.

Thanks for the link, numbers and advice, I think I am going to go with 4.56's. Gas mileage isnt really a factor in this decision lol. I called the shop today but there closed. I will call monday and get more info and pricing. Thanks alot for everyone who chimed in. Also, I switched out the stock shocks and coils for ones off a srt 10 so thats not a problem, I will look into a sway bar, thanks for the advice...Drive Safe...

J&B motorsports in Pottstown PA

http://www.j-bmotorsports.com/

They have a good rep and have done many trucks, I just got a quote from them about a 3 weeks ago, I was going to go with them to do 4.56's in my Hemi 1500, but we decided to trade that truck for my new (to me) 07 CTD so there is no need for the gears.

BTW, the prices quoted from Brian at J&B was reasonable, and I would have goon that route if we decided to keep the other truck...

What was the price they quoted you and what did it include? They are right up the street from me and I have been thinking about taking my truck in to get some gears done.
