Default Frontend Thunk

Hey everyone...well i have a 2008 dodge ram 5.7L quad cab....every time i go over bumps the drivers side front tire thunks/clunks like somethings loose...this side also seems to bottom out when hitting bumps on the highway while the passenger side makes no noise and doesn't seem to bottom out?? any suggestions? shock mounts maybe?? the steering is still perfect tracks strait doesn't wonder or anything..

This is common among lifted trucks due to the angle of the control arms. Not sure why a stock height would do this unless your shocks themselves are leaking and are bad.

Yea...its weird been doing it for a few months now and it seems to get worse the more bumpy roads i travel on....never had a lift never messed with anything on the suspension and the shocks rebound fine when you test them out....no leaks in them either...but the ride of the truck is absolutely insanely rough...so maybe it is shocks.

a thunk might be the sway bar links up front?? but I guess if the ride is rough....could be a shock possibly....dunno tho. I had a front clunk on bumps too and replaced the sway bar links and no more thump n rattle.....
