now i looked them up and i was wondering about the p0456. On another forum it was saying that could come up due to a loose/warn out gas cap. but the code p0455 is loose gas cap. What does ether of these codes translate in to in pure English

I think PO456 is a small leak in the EVAP system. You can try replacing the gascap, or the hoses on the unit itself. I had to do the hose replacement recently and it is really easy and cheap. I don't have the part numbers on me at the moment but there are two small hoses on the unit. The unit itself is under the truck bolted to the inside of the driver side frame rail, near the rear seat. The hoses are about 6 inches long and are the pre-bent type. All you do is get the hoses, yank off the old ones and pop on the new ones, that is it. If I remember right, each hose is like 6 or 7 bucks from the dealer so for about 15 bucks your problem is solved.

EDIT:
Here are the part numbers.

I got the hoses and the pcv valve. Funny thing is the check engine light went off before i replaced the parts! Guess It was ether the gas cap or the tape i put on the cracked hose. PS: While I was at the dealer, I was looking at a new Jeep Cherokee. I loved it! Black on black, very nice...May trade in the caliber in a few years so I'm looking!
