Dash lights with auto starter
Here's one for you electrical tech guys.
2002 Ram 1500 4.7
The aftermarket alarm has separate auto start module. It is driven by a negative pulse output from a second button on the remote. The truck starts and remains running for the designated time. That's all well and good, however, the "BRAKE" and "ABS" dashboard lights remain on until the key is inserted and turned to the "on" position. As far as I know the only accessory that is being fed is the heater motor. It has always been this way, and doesn't seem to be a problem. I'm just curious if something is wired wrong somewhere.
Thanks for the input.

If your relays don't activate all circuits (like the key does), the brake computer may not be powered during the autostart run. It is simply reporting that ABS function is not available -- in this case because it isn't being powered.
