Spray on Herculiner
I just finished spraying my bed with Herculiner. It was "very" messy but I really liked the look of spraying rather than rolling. It took much more prep work to spray since everything had to be covered up. I liked the way it came out since it looks "smoother" than rolling it on.
Tomorrow I going to spray the top of my tonneau cover. Here are all the pics of the bed (before/after) and tomorrow I'll post the tonneau cover pics when I'm done.
Later,

It really wasn't that hard to do. It did take a lot of time though (~7 hours).
I did in order:
1.) Tape bed rails (2 people holding 1 long piece of tape with Mark 1 eyeball leveling system)
2.) Tape tailgate to match bedrails (2 people holding 1 long piece of tape)
3.) Remove tailgate from bed
4.) Remove all hardware on tailgate and set aside panel that accesses the latching mechanism
5.) Tape end of the bed
6.) Drape plastic between cab and front of bed (secured with a lot of tape)
7.) cover all remaining surfaces that I don't want herculiner on with plastic or tape
8.) Sand everything with brill-o-pad that came with herculiner kit (took about 3-4 hours total)
9.) Remove all dirt/big particles from bed with broom
10.) Wipe everything down with Xylene
11.) Spray first coat and wait 1 hour
12.) Spray second coat and still waiting for it to totally dry
13.) Go back and touch up any spots that I missed (Sunday)
Hope this helps,

And now the Tonneau cover is sprayed. Here's all the pics. I'm going to let everything set until next weekend. Then I'll try putting the two together and see how the Herculiner changed the spacings.
