Default Dodge ram frontend....UGH

Sooooo....i developed a clunk in my driverside frontend when going over small bumps never did figure it out till yesterday got pissed off and tore the wheels off her....front tie rod ends have slack and are gone...have a front passenger side drive axle seal leaking...gone...the rack and pinion has about a F^$&*G inch of slack in it but may be fine for awhile....and to make all of this worse my warrenty for everything but the drive axle seal was gone 10,000km ago...nice. Anyone else have problems with the front ends on these trucks..?? i mean i put down a hard 190,000km on my gmc and never had issues but now im at 67,000 km and the front end is junk in my dodge?? any heavier parts i can upgrade to??? BTW i have never beaten this truck down bumpy back roads or went mudding....very small stuff otherwise its all highway...

That how my truck is. The big bumps such as a speed bump you can't hear the knock but a small bump like slowly backing out of a drive way or driving on a dirt road it sounds like my front end is falling apart. I wouldn't replace with OEM parts since it's just going to happen again. I think you can get upper and lower aftermarket ball joints. MOOGS i think. But to me I just said screw it. Im going to just deal with the knocking.

Cheapest please I have found for those UCA with BJs and lower BJs as well as tie rods is www.rockauto.com

I would replace everything yourself and then take it in for the alignment

Well...im just replacing the tie rod end so i wont need a alignment yet...after i get the slack out of the tie rod ill see how it goes. She drives like its on rails...sticks to the road goes perfectly strait no slack in anything what so ever nice and touchy so i dont think i have that bad of problems yet...i would of never noticed it if i didnt have the tad clunk that the tie rod end is causing...
