2wd/4wd electric switch
Hello, i just got RAM from US to Finland (so iam noob with Dodges)
There is switch to change 2WD-> 4WD LOCK ->4WD LOW
Is't 4WD LOCK like 4WD High, There wasn't owner's manual and i tried also
search with Google, but there wasn't nothing. Then i found this forum and i think here is professinal guys who can help me.
So what is differents this 4WD LOCK and 4WD LOW, can i drive 4WD like normal speeds (like 0-70mph) In Finland this 70mph is max high speed in Winter.
Regards
Henri

4 lock is the same as 4 high. I think the max speed is 55mph(Maybe not????) I wouldnt think.. you would be doing any faster in 4x4.. i mean if its icy enough you need it you shouldnt be going 70mph lol.(least IMO)
I didn't think 4lock was the same as 4 high. I have a 2006 hemi 4x4 with electronic **** that has 4lock,4lo or 2wd. 4 lock seems to lock the differentials, very hard to turn and noisy on hard turns on dry pavement. Never pulling into my parking garage while in 4lock again (oops i know)! My friend that has a 2005 with 4hi does not have this trouble turning on dry pavement which leads me to believe that my front diff is locked and his isn't?
