How are ya guys?
so i just got my 06 ram 1500 about a month ago now and its time to open up that 4.7...yes ...i said 4.7 Anyways! Best -first- performance upgrades? what do you guys recommend?
exhaust, intake, chip?

 

Hey a fellow 4.7L too bad it isn't an 08 though so far I started off with ditching the crimped stock y-pipe while adding the muffler, and to feed the better flowing exhaust, I went with a CAI (K&N). And to help all that out I got a SC Programmer. I'd have done headers too but sadly none are out for the 08 4.7L that I can find yet

And what others have helped me decide on is some Motive 4.56 gears next.

hahahaha ya ya ramhunter! you just wish you had a 4.7! justt kiddinggg...anyways is there a difference between the 06 4.7 and the 08? i will tell you guys i do have the newer body style like ram hunters but a single cab short bed. I have the newer front end not the older ..if that makes a difference?

 

i cant help i have a hemi with soild axles . im sure some of our resident 4.7's will chime in

hahaha damn right man....i gotta get some beefier tires first. this was a florida truck. the guy drove it up here and traded it in and i picked it up. All my friends were saying i'll be fine i just gotta weigh down the back. we shall see we shall see
