Default trans problem

my transmission slips only when the weather is cold. like 65 or colder but if it is warm out it works fine. I am thinking it is the filter but not real sure. any suggestion. thanks.

filter sounds right, try starting it in neutral and letting it warm that was for a couple of minutes. Remember, there are two filters in the trans, one flat filter and one spin on canister filter.
