auto to Manual transmission

Default auto to Manual transmission

i have a 2004 dodge ram1500 st 4x4 with the 4.7 and my transmission is acting up on me so i want to put a manual transmission in and i have a nv 3500, 4wd of a 95 ram1500 318 and want to know if it will bolt up to my 4.7 and i do know i need the Hydraulic Clutch, system the clutch and brake pedal assemblies the flywheel and clutch and the steering steering column but will that tranny work

I think it's going to be a lot of work and cost a lot more than the repair of the transmission, but it should bolt up to your engine without a problem... The engines are all the same.

I don't know if it will work... but I do know that this is the 1 single thing I hate about my truck... Why the 1500 Hemi's didn't have an option for manual transmission I have no idea, but this is the first vehicle I've ever owned with an automatic and absolutely HATE it... I've looked into throwing a manual on my truck, and amount of work it was going to take I just deemed it too much trouble....
