Does anyone know if I will need a bypass if I get a alarm system put in if I have a regular key? Are is it just for the ones that have keyless entry already? My truck didn't come with keyless

 

i don't think u need any bypass. a local custom shop around here they'd give me an alarm and add the window motors AND the keyless entry all for $850.

and i believe he said it was so cheap because it would be such an easy job...meaning there is no security to bypass or any existing programming to over ride.

but i never got it done (yet), so...i'm not sure if what i just said is credible or not...
