Does anyone have any idea what this is? Evaporative Emission Control System Incorrect Purge Flow? WTF is that? The CEL has been on for a few days now but the truck has been running perfect. I have no earthly idea what this code is for.

 

i get this code every few weeks then i clear it and it comes back, check your gas cap, and hoses and such, doesnt do anything really mine has been on and off for almost a year just havent got around to digging further

Check your hose clamps that connect the tank to the neck and hoses. Your eecs constantly monitors your fuel system for leaks by pressurizing the tank. if a leak is decteted the bamm you get a code and if it's a bad leak the truck won't run....If you ever wondered what that black box in front of your gas tank is now you know.

 

i got that same code on my truck a while back... i just cleared the code and never had a problem with it since. truck runs fine. i dont use my AC alot though
