Default Debadging and fading...

Guys idiot question..

My 2003 ram is old - yes - if I debadge now - will there be fading where I can see where the badges used to be?

i did mine, its an 02, there was some fading but it went away with in a couple weeks. also it might depend on what color you have maybe

I did mine a year ago....and i didnt have any problems with color difference

There will be a slight ghosting, mainly from the glue residue, but it will go away.

There might be some fading or areas where you can see '1500' and what not. You might be able to blend it in with a good paint cleaner and/or polish on an electric buffer/polisher. Your truck is silver? You might have better luck than say a red truck like mine or someone that has a black truck.

i have an 03 black ram i debadged last year and the ghosting went away and you couldnt tell where they were even if i pointed it out

Mines light silver, I had a ghosting effect for a while, a good wax got rid of it. May try a clay bar and make the whole truck shine in the process.

I debadged my 04 RAM and any discoloration/ghosting went away in a few weeks.... I did apply some wax to those areas too every once in a while.
