I really don't want to spend big $$ for HID's, but the headlights are alittle dim to me. I don't have fog lights but plan to add them soon with a factory add on kit. Are the Sylvania Silverstar headlight bulbs a good upgrade? Thanks.

 

A lot of people who dont want to go to HIDs use the Silverstars but to me the HIDs dont cost that much. But not everyone is comfortable doing 60+ on HIDs

 

Silverstars are pretty decent bulbs. However, I definately think that the hids are worth the extra 50-100 more that you will spend on the HID kit. But thats just my oppinion, and it is because due to my line of work I spend TONS of road time in my beloved Ram. I ran my silverstars for about 3 months before upgrading to the HID's and Both are good options.
