Default Wheel and Tire shopping...

Alright fellas, I believe the time has come for me to start doing a little rim/tire researching

Since I use my truck for pretty much nothing it was built for, I don't think I'm gonna go with anything aggressive, tread wise. I do think Im shooting for 22's, black with a chrome lip, and however much rubber I can fit under my stock-ride-height Ram.

I'm aware of the loss of ride quality I'll get with the bigger wheels, since Ill have to go with a 'thinner' tire. If all I can fit on there are some rubberbands, Ill just go with 20's.

SO, where are some good sites to look for some wheel/tire packages? I did the usual ebay and tirerack, and came up with a few. I just thought Id come in and drop a line, see what ya'll boys had to say. Perciate the help/advice/ribbing ya'll have...

id either just google 22" wheels or pick up a truckin mag and look in there or even a lowrider car mag and see what in there for deals they all have websites im sure but it all depends on who has what on sale or for a good price usually you can get a combo for a decent price.....

You still have plenty of space for a good sidewall. Tirerack recommends a size of 275/45-22 which has an overall diameter of 31.8". I run 305/45-22 tire size on my truck, and they are a 32.8" diameter tire. I have had the set up on 2 1500s, a 2006 and now my 2008 and I haven't noticed any ride quality issues compared to my stock 20" set up (although I am sure someone is going to disagree). Just my two cents though.
