5.9L V8 How many gallons?

The 26 gallon tank is designed to read empty with a 6 gal reserve. That is why you can only put 20 gals in unless you've dipped into the reserve.

Some guys don't believe this, but I have Yet to replace a fuel pump ever! Must be a reason.
My cousin drives his car below 1/8 tank regularly. he's replaced a fuel pump in almost every car he's owned.

i have owned 20 something Used cars. This truck is the first new vehicle i have ever purchased just so ya know I'm not comparing new cars to old one's.

One question about the gauges. Couple years ago I have a 2002 BMW 525i (BMW NEVER AGAIN!!!) there was a console test. You have to click a function in portable computer and the gauges go crazy. Can I do that in my 02 dodge? To check if the fuel gauge is right?

I have 02 5.9 and ive never had to put more than 22 gal in, and that was when i prob 15 miles after the light came on. so id say the 6 gal reserve is prob correct
