Didn't know that or maybe I just never payed attention

Also, 5qt jugs? Generally they are 1 gallon jugs which is only 4qts.

They definitely have 5qt jugs hanging around... You just have to find a store that carries it....

Cool so you would be fine w/ 5w30 or 10w30, I'd recommend the 5w30 for winter and 10w30 would be good for warmer times of the year. Also you might want to run a couple short OCI's when you first swap over since the high mileage oil is supposed to do a lot of cleaning.

With that many miles, i would not go to synthetic. Your gaskets seals could leak.

It's possible, my brother recently swapped his chevy over to synthetic at about 135k miles and it consumed or lost about a qt. over 5k on the first run. It's really up to you CubanBlood, most engines can go over 200k on dino oil w/ reasonable OCI's.

I've never heard of someone switching back and forth so much. Not sure its a good idea either. I've been told that once you switch to synthetic, then you should stay with synthetic.

Well I'm gonna be swapping back and forth between a group III syn. and conventional while using this stuff http://www.auto-rx.com/ (I read about it on BITOG). My engine is only at about 30k though, if you really want some input join bobistheoilguy.com forums and post the question there.
