I need help with tires and rims and what looks best!
My 2002 4x4 qc came with 17" rims and stock all terrain tires from Goodyear. I didnt like the look so I purchased the 20" rims with stock Goodyears. They looked awesome and I loved the way it filled out the wheel well. So I went hunting and tried crossing a stream bed and pop!..... side wall of goodyear now has a 2 inch slash in the side. So I learned that while the 20s handled great and looked sharp, they just aint made for getting dirty or 4 wheeling. I took them off and put the 17's back on. So heres where I need help. Are there any tires that will make these 17's look good? Do I need to shell out the big dollars and get off road tires for the 20"s. I prefer to stay with the 17 and get a tire that can fill out the wheel well. Any links to pics of your trucks for reference would be great. -Malibu Mike
You know?!?! I have the exact same question and pretty curios on how it would look. If anybody has a pic please post it.
I too am trying to decide if I should get a bigger tire for the 17's instead of gettin the 20's

You can get LT285/55/20 BFG All Terrains for your truck. They are kinda expensive, but it would look good and fill out the wheel well, and give you a strong offroad tire.
I have a set of 285/70/17 BFG All Terrain, but I have custom wheels I don't know if they would fit the skinner 17's you have. Its a great off road tire, if you get the 20" BFG you might still have trouble with the side wall being shorter. Plus the cost difference from Discount tire is about $100 a tire.
I WANT THESE TIRES

I just got the 35's for 20 inch rims and I love 'em! By far the quietest MT tire I've seen....and they look mean too.
