Talking Exhaust is Finally DONE!!!

Well guys the exhaust is DONE... 100% FINISHED!!!! And I must say, from where it was this time last weekend to now, I LOVE IT soooooooo much better like this. First thing first though, I have to give a HUGE thanks to Chris (*03ramit1*) and Mike (Twistdmetal) from over on the HTC for helping me out with this one, it would not have come out nearly this nice if it wasn't for their help.

The cats are back on and opened up to a 3" in/out, all O2's are back in w/ NO CEL's, the wideband is up and running, the cutout piping is gone and everything (minus the 2 clamps on the collectors and 1 clamp connecting the Y to the pipe for the muffler) is welded up very very nicely.

The sound is quite a bit quieter than without the cats at idle and part throttle but is LOUD at WOT which is EXACTLY what I was looking for. The raspy tone is gone, the annoying tone in the cab is gone, I can actually drive with the radio turned down or off and enjoy the sound of the truck now, I can have a conversation in the truck with my wife or a friend while driving down the road.

Performance wise, I'll have to get back to you guys on later this week, but I can already tell it seems a hell of alot better in the lower rpms than it did before and it still pulls hard up top.

No sound clips right now guys, may have to wait til next weekend before I can do another clip up, but for now here are a few pics of the install.

Again a HUGE thanks to Chris and Mike for their help on this!!!

That does look nice. I like how they cut the cats flush and welded on the ends. Too bad my guy didnt think of that. I might have to go back to see him and put a bug in his ear.

Well if the drive to work is any indcation as to how this thing is going to perform, I think its going to be good. From a dead stop punching it you squeel the tires for a sec. or two then your gone. The "push you back in your seat" feeling is there again and even more so than it was with the stock setup, passing power is going to get me in trouble from 65mph - 80mph feels like nothing and happens very quickly and wants to keep on pulling.
