Okay so like that says...I got my driving lights in. and im just waiting for my Ruk industries roof light bar... So has anyone attempted drilling into the roof so they can run the wires into the cabin??
any suggestions on what to use? does any one have a write up or picture detailing there work?

the way it looks, you might be able to run the wires along the light bar its self and the inside the cab...pull some trim pieces and run the wiring under the trim....otherwise try using some weatherstrip adhesive or RTV

Thanks for the videos AF hemi, that guys funny as hell.... I wont be able to wire the lights right into the cab by removing any trim or anything like that being that this light bar connects to the cab pretty much by the door jambs. Im thinking im gonna have to use a grommet but Im not so sure its gonna be 100%.... its gonna take some thought.. and product searching....
heres the light bar. if u scroll down you will see the "gutterless mount kit"

Warm weather and rtv are your friends. If you try to seal with rtv when it is cold... forget it. Clean off all the wax, dirt, bird droppings, everything.
And use a sharp drill bit. Not a cheap one.

Now explain to me why you cant run the wiring along the light bar and into the door jamb then route it into your cab without putting holes in your truck that dont need to be there? if your putting clearance lights up there sure... but for off road lights that just seems really stupid to me...
running it along the light bar and into the door jamb doesnt look possible. i dont see any way into the cab that way, unless u know of something that im missing?
im not so sure im gonna use that roof top Carr light bar because i really dont want to drill into the roof. I think i might get a light bar/roll bar looking thing.. that way I can run the wire inside the tubeing and between the cab and bed back to the engine compartment...
