QUESTION please help.
Did you go underneath the truck to try to find anything? Possibly a U-joint going bad and causing a purring type noise?? It sounds to me like something is loose, or going bad, not so much a tire or driveshaft issue. Check the imput shaft going into the transfer case, or possibly the trans mount or something along those lines. That sounds to me to be where the problem area lies.

sorry ive never heard of imput shaft.
I would have all your wheels "Road Force" balance. The machine will be able to tell if your rims are true and if you have am out of round tire. It's surprisingly common these days to have an out of round tire!
Im gonna do that, if not, ill just wit till the warranty kicks in which should be in the next couple days, and tell them hey theres something goin on with the truck need you to fix it. thatll be the best way to do it.
had that happen to me and all the balancing done wouldn't take care it. Went away after i put new tires on it. Some tires are just bad enough to cause this and you mention it goes away after reaching a certain speed.
Have them rotate the tires next time along with the balance. If its a bad tire you will feel it differently since it will be on the other side of the truck. make sense?
