Would it be at all possible to add TPMS to your truck if you didn't already have it?

If you get an EVIC with it and you install the TP sensors, then you have it. It just reports the tire pressure, not if it is high or low (not through 2008 mopars, anyway).

If you bought the truck used, how do you even know the sensors are still in the tires?

The valve stems should be different.

So, basically it's a useless system anyhow? I know I've read, somewhere, that when you've got those TPMS things it makes buying aftermarket wheels tough. Don't exactly know why. Maybe it wasn't tough to buy aftermarket, maybe it was just expensive. LOL. IDK. Please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. LOL.

Rawram2006 well if you buy after market wheels and you want to keep the sensors you are going to either have to buy new bands and sensors or you can reuse the sensors but you have to cut the bands off. so to answer your question yes if you dont want the light on in your dash then you need to get new bands so that is going to cost more then just buying the wheels. the bands are like $20 and sensors are like $60.
