My 2003 1500 Hemi started sputtering real bad with a strong fuel odor. I got it into the shop and have been told that I blew a valve spring. It's a "Not Unusual" problem with Hemis I was told......and perhaps I was running the hell out of it (I plead the 5th).

I was told it will cost $2300 for parts and labor....to replace a busted valve spring (or springs)??? Does that make any sense? And it sounds like there are UPGRADED springs now cuz 2003 was notorious for this problem???
